A Family Gathering

Finally I managed to do a family portrait of the West Land Royals, well, the first generation of cubs, Adilah and their friends. I don't know what they are doing, just gathering around and talking I bet. Adilah's looking at something interesting elsewhere, probably bored with the cubbish fights xD. This took a long time to do, but the BG was the easiest.

From left to right:

Adilah was the West Land Queen at that time, her children are Viza, Elak, Kimi and Zola. Viza and Elak were fathered by Busara, Kimi was fathered by Keto and Zola was fathered by Natas. None of the cubs are pure royals for the king at the tine, Raruo, could not produce cubs. Kiwa is an orphaned cub who stuck around the royal family, mostly Elak and Adilah for she was friend with Elak and she idolized Adilah, saw her as a mother even. Abasi was the 'bully' in Viza's eyes, he hung out with Zola and bumped heads with my little lion all the time.

Adilah went on to have four cubs the litter after: Talia, Kida, Murdoc and Godric with the former North Lander Kazim (fathered Talia and Kida) as her King. Talia and Kimi eventually died, as did Adilah. Grief stricken Kazim left the thrown to the crowned prince, Viza.

Elak was left in the North during an outing with Adilah as a cub and was raised by the North Land King, Rakazi. He grew up in the North and eventually became mates with Jahli, the heir and now Queen of the North. Their union resulted in one cub, Princess Ekundayo, for the time being. Elak and Viza share a love hate relationship.

Zola and Abasi grew to be lovers and when they were young adults came up with a plot to try and take the throne from Viza. However Viza was not yet King and Kiwa had seen, resulting in their exile once Kazim was notified. Viza suffered a broken jaw. The two became mates as well as took over the East Lands, having cubs Kukata, Kulima and Kuchimba. Kuchimba is fathered by a North Lander by the name of Bunifu.

Viza was the bratty young prince of the West Lands, Kiwa the sensible and highly intelligent 'commoner'. After the disappearance of Elak the two were driven close through grief and have faced most every problem together. Viza and Kiwa produced their daughter Princess Suma at a tender age, before Viza had even taken the throne (Viza had two other cubs on the side with a lioness by the name of Akilah, daughter of Keto and Duni, but they were born lifeless). With the attack on his life by Abasi Viza has remained paranoid, leaving him to not trust those who he should. Kiwa takes the blunt of these blows verbally though he has only laid a paw on her once, but she is more than able to fight back. The two have always fought a lot but in the recent months they have begun to understand each other more and with the disappearances of Viza's ex lover salar the love between King and Queen of the West have grown stronger, resulting in a second litter, Najja and Adama. The family is in turmoil at the moment with broken bonds and hard feelings.
